General description: Volvo Technology (VTEC) is a Business Unit of the Volvo Group (i.e. AB Volvo) with head office in Gothenburg (Sweden) and offices in Lyon (France) and Greensboro/Allentown (United States). VTEC is an innovation company which, on contract basis, develops new technology, new product and business concepts for "hard" as well as "soft" products within the transport and vehicle industry. VTEC’s primary customers are the Volvo Group companies and Volvo Car Corporation but also some selected suppliers.
