General description: UNIVERSITAS is a high education and research private organisation whose object is the scientific and academic management of high education and research institute. In this frame, UNIVERSITAS (created in 1995) owns and manages the Instituto Superior de Educação e Ciências (ISEC), which is a non profitable school of higher education and research aimed at the training of responsible citizens and competent professionals conferring them a sound scientific, technical and cultural background. It is organized in three Scientific and Pedagogical Units: Science and Technology, Education Science and Design. In the framework of HUMANIST NoE, ISEC had set up a master degree on Human Factors in New Technologies in Transports, which will start running in October 2008. This master course is expected to be running as well at other European universities. In the frame of close cooperation with Brazil and Portuguese speaking African countries, ISEC is willing to integrate at least one foreign student from one of these countries in training and research activities.

Roles in the ITN: Hosting and coaching a PhD student investigating the driver’s mental representation of ADAS functions and its influence on his/her behaviour / Taking part in the training programme.
