Job description

The post-doc applicant we are seeking has a doctoral degree in psychology, engineering or cognitive science and experience with the analysis of mass data such as those collected in long-term driving studies.

The post-doc work will be performed in the framework of the Marie Curie Initial Training Network “ADAPTATION” (www.adaptation-itn.eu). Within this training network, 10 PhD students will conduct joint driving simulator and driving field studies in order to investigate drivers’ short- and long-term adaptation processes in response to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

The aim of this post-doc work is to develop and implement a data base and a data analysis protocol to enable the storage, joint access, individual analysis and integration of different types of behavioural data collected during the driving simulator or field studies performed by the PhD students.

Specific tasks:

ü demand analysis and specification of the requirements of the data base and analysis tool(s)

ü development of a data base and data analysis protocol to be used for the storage and analysis of driver behaviour data

ü implementation, update and supervision of the use of the developed data base and protocol

Requirements

Applicants should:

ü have a Doctor in Psychology, Engineering or Computer Science

ü experiences and knowledge in the manipulation and analysis of mass data / time series data including skills in using respective software

ü be open for trans-national mobility (in accordance with the Marie Curie mobility conditions) and to cooperate with PhD students inside the network

ü take part and contribute to the training activities organised by the ADAPTATION network

Remuneration
